Ko (Koichiro) Tanaka was born in Nara, Japan and worked for a film and digital production for 7 years. In 2004, he founded Projector, an interdisciplinary creative studio based in Tokyo. He has produced some of the most watched and shared brand contents on the web, and is recognized as one of the creative leaders in the area of digital advertising. Especially, his effort for the global branding of Uniqlo has been drawing an international attention. Among his over 100 international awards are 15 Cannes Lions (including 2 Grand Prix and 6 Golds). He has also been named as Ad week’s “The Top Creative Minds in Digital.” In 2013, he moved to New York to start a new adventure.
